The Austin Chronicle Presents: Karaoke and Chill

Come party with the Austin Chronicle before Valentine's Day and spend the evening with the Chronicle's master of love and romance, the Luv Doc.

In the real world when your heart swells it's a bad thing. The medical term for it is "cardiomyopathy," and if you've got that you might want to start shopping caskets and maybe back off the chicken-fried steaks. In the metaphorical world however, a swollen heart is a good thing, and that's why the Chronicle's Luv Doc is inviting you to come "get swole" at his special "Karaoke and Chill" pre-Valentine's soiree at the Spider House. Single? NO PROBLEM! Get your mack on with Chronicle mascot Hank the Dog at our kissing booth, sponsored by Pug Rescue of Austin. Or take a super fly profile pic at our special "Love Me Tinder" booth! We'll also be playing "Spin the Bottle" for exciting prizes, and you could spend "Seven Minutes in Heaven" with someone special (we're all snowflakes, mmkay?). If you're a couple, get your fortune read and see what's in store for you on Valentine's Day! Plus, dance to our sweet Seventies and Eighties disco jams! Starting at 10pm we're going to burn down the house with four hours of love-themed karaoke! OMFG this is going to be SO MUCH FUN!!!
