On Punk Rock, and the Passing of Bruce Todd and Sarah Weddington

LISTEN: The Austin Chronicle Show on KOOP Community Radio

It's all about history on this week's episode The Austin Chronicle Show on KOOP Community Radio.

In the first half of the program, News Editor Mike Clark-Madison reflects on the recent deaths of two major political figures – former mayor Bruce Todd and Sarah Weddington, the lawyer, lawmaker, and advocate who successfully argued Roe v. Wade in front of the Supreme Court at age 26.

In the second half of the program, music writer Tim Stegall hops on to discuss his ongoing history of Austin punk that he's been excerpting in the Chronicle for the past couple weeks; this latest run culminates in the Jan. 7 issue.

Want to catch the show live next time? Tune in Fridays, 6pm, to KOOP 91.7 FM or livestream the show at koop.org.
