Spring semester means lots of things: new classes, internships, and staring down the Freshman 15 as Spring Break looms. Fortunately, Chef Burns, author of Kitchenability 101, a cookbook for college students, and Austin-based Claire Siegel of The Slender Student, are here to help.

Tonight, CYC Fitness near the UT campus offers students the opportunity to reboot their bodies and clean up their eating habits, first with a spin class, followed by a breakfast-centered cooking demonstration and tasting by Burns and Siegel. Participants can also enter to win a copy of Kitchenability 101, which features recipes like Nutella French toast and strawberry crepes.

The details are as follows:
6:30: CYC Kitchenability Ride (spin class) [Class is currently full, but you can sign up for the waitlist here.]
7:30: Cooking class & tasting, raffle

Interested parties can RSVP to events@cycfitness.com.

CYC Fitness is located at 715 W. 23rd St.
